I beg to refer you to your letter of the 11th of February
1918, in which you informed me that before any assignment could be made of the trade marks registered in Hongkong in the name of Arn- hold, Harberg & 00., it would be necessary for us to obtain from the Courts either in Hongkong or in England, a Declaration which would place beyond dispute our right to these trade marks.
I beg to inform you that this Declaration has now been ob-
tained, and I enolose herewith copy of an Order made by Mr. Justice
Bray on the 19th instant, confirming that our partnership was dis-
solved by the outbreak of war, that my brother and I are absolutely entitled to the goodwill and the trade marks belonging to the busi- ness formerly carried on by the firm of Arnhold, Karberg & Co., and that these should be assigned by us to Messrs. Arnhold Brothers & Co. Ltd. I am obtaining a certified copy of this judgment, but I am frormed
that the same will not be available for some days. I will on re-
ceipt immediately forward the same, but possibly in the meantime the enclosed copy, which as you will see is signed by our legal advisers Messrs. Coward & Nawksley, Sans & Chance, may prove sufficient for
